We are happy to announce details of the 26th Annual GSGW Summer Camp, June 1–3, 2018. After the great success of the previous camps, we are again offering an affordable and fun way to learn new techniques and skills. The weekend also provides time to perform, jam and socialize with those who share our common musical interests.

You can choose 2 seminars of 4 hours each for a total of 8 hours over the weekend. Seminar sizes are usually 4 – 10 participants per leader. The level of participation is geared toward a variety of ability levels.
Here are the details of the scheduled seminars for, June 1–3, 2018.
BRING: Bedding and towel (none provided), swimsuit, picks, capo, extra strings, tape recorder and tapes, pen and paper … and a well rested body … we mean it!
CAMP POLICY: No drugs or pets; smoking outdoors only, away from groups and high traffic areas. The Georgia Strait Guitar Workshop takes no responsibility for the safety of participants, their personal effects, instruments or vehicles. This is a closed camp for security and safety reasons. No visitors please.
HOW THINGS WORK
Friday: Registration at the camp starts at 5:00 pm, with supper at 6:00 pm. Everyone convenes in the main hall at 8:00 pm when seminar leaders describe and demonstrate their seminars, after which you make your seminar selections.
Saturday: Seminars run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The legendary Saturday night concert begins at 7:00 pm, providing an opportunity for you to perform in a supportive atmosphere (sign-up Saturday morning).
Sunday: Seminars again run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm with time to pack and clear the camp by 4:00 pm.
COST AND REGISTRATION
Places are allocated to the first 65 registrants (by date of receipt of registration form), so register early to ensure a place.
The Early Bird price is CDN$325, deadline (post-marked by) April 1st. After April 1st any spaces are at the Regular price of CDN$350. Your payment, in full, must accompany your application.
Cancellation policy: A $25 fee is charged on all cancellations. Fees paid (less $25) will be credited to future events. Please note: any credit given on cancellations received within 14 days of any event will be at the discretion of the organizers.
